Adding in a few "Human Classes"

I was able to add in a few "Human" classes.

*Warrior
*Ranger
*Thief
*Medic
*Tinker

I haven't added in "Races" yet. Need to get a XML custom GUI done for that, and still need to find a 3D Maya/Max artist before I can actually deal with what they (the classes/races) will look like, and hold at the start of the game, but at least I was feeling up to doing SOMETHING today.

World Entrance

We received our "World" today. I did log in, and I knew it would be mind blowing, but I emptied the world of all the pre-made things, and stood upon a blank screen with some randomly generated character.

It took me aback just to see all the work I have to look forward to. Nothing can stay, it all has to go. What this means... I have HOURS upon HOURS of learning Maya, then importing the things I make into the core engine, then turning around and scripting what I want.

OUCH!...I have in my head what I WANT.. now can I take it out of my head and actually put it on a screen? I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now, but then I think 'this is how all new game designers must feel at first?'.

Steampunk Info #1

Steampunk is a genre which came into prominence during the 1980s and early 1990s and incorporates elements of science fiction, fantasy, alternate history, horror, and speculative fiction.

whether in an alternate history such as Victorian era Britain or "Wild West"-era United States, or in a post-apocalyptic time

Works of steampunk often feature anachronistic technology, or futuristic innovations as Victorians might have envisioned them.

Based on a Victorian perspective on fashion, culture, architectural style, and art.

Dev Note #1

Well, we filed for the game this morning. It will be up to 7 days before we can start working on adding in more info, so I am going to work a little in Maya 2012 as soon as it finishes downloading since that is the pipeline that the core uses.

I need to do a lot more research into "Steampunk" in order to make sure I can get everything right.
